Some businesses are run by partners who should both have full access, including billing. PostaiLit supports multiple owners on the same account.

Promoting someone to owner
- Invite them as a Member or Reviewer first (or pick Owner directly during invite).
- Once they accept, go to Settings, Team.
- In their row, change the role dropdown to Owner.
They now have full access, billing, team management, all settings.
Billing emails
Billing notifications (invoices, payment failures, plan changes) go to every owner on the account. If there are two owners, both get the receipts.
One protection, you cannot remove the last owner
The system does not let you remove or demote the only remaining owner. If you want to leave the account entirely, you must first promote someone else to owner. This is a safety net so an account is never left without anyone in charge.
Co owner best practices
- Agree on brand kit changes in advance. Either owner can edit colours, tone, or products. Talk before making big changes.
- Use Members for staff. Only true co founders or partners should be Owners. Anyone else should be a Member or Reviewer.
- Check billing together. Plan changes affect costs. Loop in your partner before upgrading or downgrading.
Important Note
- Every owner counts as a seat against your plan limit, Starter 1, Growth 3, Pro 5.
- You can have any number of owners up to your seat cap. There is no separate limit on owners.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can a co owner cancel the account?
Yes, any owner can change the plan or cancel. Agree on big decisions first. - What if I want to step away?
Promote your partner to owner first, then leave. The system blocks removing the last owner. - Do co owners share regenerations?
Yes, the regeneration allowance is account wide, not per user.
