Every week, PostaiLit runs a content generation job for your account. The whole thing is automatic, but it helps to know what is happening behind the scenes so you can shape the output. Here is the full picture.

When it runs

Content is generated on the weekend. Each account is processed on its own slot, and you get an email as soon as your batch is ready to review.

Step 1, we read your brand kit

Our content engine pulls everything in your brand kit, business name, industry, target audience, tone of voice, content pillars, products, brand colours, visual style, default call to action link, and your enabled holidays. The more complete your brand kit, the more accurate the content.

Step 2, we plan the week

Our planner AI uses your pillars, featured products, active promotions, plan limits, and any upcoming holidays to decide what to post, what format each post should take, and when to schedule it.

Most posts are feed posts and stories. The planner also picks other formats when they fit:

  • Reels, short vertical videos, on Growth and Pro.
  • Carousels, swipeable multi slide posts, on Growth and Pro for list style, step by step, before and after, or multi product topics.
  • Holiday posts, scheduled around the dates you opted into in your brand kit.

Step 3, we generate images and captions

Our image AI builds each visual from your brand colours, logo, visual style, and the photos you uploaded. Captions are written to match your brand voice, and hashtags are drawn from your brand kit and prioritised by what has actually driven engagement on your past posts.

Your uploaded photos are used in two ways. When a post features one of your products, the AI keeps that product exactly as it appears in your photo, the same label, colours, and shape, and places it into a fresh styled scene. For everything else, your pillar photos, brand photos, and lifestyle shots are used as visual reference, so the new scene matches your real world rather than copying the photo exactly.

Step 4, you review

You get an email to review your batch. Approve posts as they are, edit a caption, or request changes and the AI will regenerate. Carousels show a swipeable preview so you can see every slide before approving.

Step 5, we publish

Approved posts publish automatically to your connected Facebook Page and Instagram at the scheduled time. Stories include your call to action sticker if you set one up. You get a confirmation email each time a post goes live.

Quick Posts, outside the weekly batch

If you want to post something right now, like an event photo or a behind the scenes moment, use Quick Post. Upload your own photo, choose how to brand it, and we publish it on your schedule. Quick Posts skip the weekly review step and do not count against your weekly limits.

Important Note

  • Update your brand kit any time. Changes take effect on your next weekly batch. Posts already scheduled are not affected.
  • Your uploaded photos are the single biggest lever on image quality, more real photos in, more on brand visuals out.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Can I generate content on demand instead of weekly?
The full weekly plan runs on its weekend slot. For one off moments, Quick Posts give you on demand publishing.
  2. Why did I get a carousel I did not ask for?
The planner picks the carousel format when a topic suits sequential slides. That sits on Growth and Pro only.
  3. What happens if my brand kit is half empty?
The AI still generates posts, but quality drops sharply. A solid brand kit is the single biggest quality lever.
