How to turn it on
- Go to Settings, Security and start 2FA setup.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
- Enter the 6 digit code from your app to confirm.
- Save your backup codes somewhere safe.
Backup codes
When you enable 2FA you get a set of backup codes. Each code works once and lets you log in if you lose access to your authenticator app. Store them somewhere secure and separate from your phone.
Turning it off
You can disable 2FA any time from Settings, Security.
Troubleshooting
- Code rejected. Make sure your phone time is synced correctly, then try again.
- Lost your phone. Use one of your backup codes to log in, then reset 2FA from Settings, Security.
- No backup codes and no phone. Open a support ticket so we can verify your identity and reset 2FA for you.
Important Note
- Authenticator app codes refresh every 30 seconds. If a code fails, wait for the next one and try again.
- Treat backup codes like spare keys, store them somewhere only you can reach.
