How to set your timezone

  1. Go to Settings, Account.
  2. Choose your timezone from the list.
  3. Save. Future posts are scheduled in your local time.

How posting times are chosen

PostaiLit schedules each post across the week at sensible times of day for engagement. These times follow the timezone on your account, so the first thing to check if posts seem to publish at odd hours is that your timezone is correct.

Changing the time of a specific post

You can adjust any individual post date and time. Open the post, tap Edit, change the scheduled date and time, and save. This works while a post is pending or scheduled, but not after it has published.

Important Note

  • Set your timezone during onboarding so your very first batch publishes at the right local times.
  • Daylight savings adjustments are handled automatically, no need to update twice a year.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What if my audience is in a different timezone to me?
Pick the timezone of your audience, not your own. Your content publishes for them.
  2. Can I block certain hours from publishing?
The planner already avoids very late and very early hours. For specific blocks, edit posts individually.
  3. Do scheduled posts publish if my account is paused?
No, scheduled posts are held during a pause and rescheduled forward on resume.
