How to enable Trending hooks

  1. Open Brand Kit.
  2. Scroll to Content Preferences.
  3. Toggle Trending hooks on.
  4. Save.

The next weekly batch will use the new setting. Batches already generated are not retroactively touched.

How it works behind the scenes

Twice a day, the system fetches the top trending searches for your country. When the weekly planner runs, it sees the current top 8 trends and instructs the writer to weave any that fit your brand naturally into a post or two. Off brand trends are skipped without you having to do anything.

Supported countries

Trending data is pulled for:

  • United States
  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Ireland
  • South Africa
  • India
  • Mexico

Other countries fall back to United States trends. Your country is inferred from your business location in Brand Kit.

Skipping an off brand trend

You can always reject or regenerate any post during review. The planner will not weave the same trend twice in the same week.

Important Note

  • If a topic keeps showing up that you do not want, add the relevant keywords to your Exclusions field in Brand Kit. The planner will avoid trends that touch those keywords.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Will every post be about a trend?
No. Trending hooks influence 1 to 2 posts per week at most. The rest of your batch stays focused on your pillars.
  2. Can I turn this off later?
Yes, the toggle works both ways. The next batch will respect the change.
  3. Does this work in my native language?
Trends are fetched in your country's primary language, then translated into the brand voice and language(s) set in your Brand Kit.
