Small businesses that show up consistently with on brand content thrive on social media. Content pillars are the recurring themes your posts rotate through, and they are the quiet engine that keeps your feed feeling like one brand voice instead of a random stream.

Why pillars matter
Without pillars, every post is a fresh decision and your feed starts to drift. With pillars, the planner knows what your brand stands for and can pick on theme topics every single week. It is the difference between a feed that feels considered and one that feels random.
How many pillars you get per plan
- Starter, up to 5 pillars.
- Growth, up to 8 pillars.
- Pro, up to 12 pillars.
You can mix theme pillars (like "Behind the scenes" or "Customer wins") with product pillars. Product pillars pull from your Products list and earn dedicated weekly posts when featured.
What makes a good pillar
Specific topics convert better than broad ones. Instead of "Marketing tips", try "30 second LinkedIn tips for service businesses". The more specific the pillar, the more on brand the post.
Important Note
- A pillar you can cover from 20+ angles over a year is a great pillar. If you would run out of ideas in a month, it is too narrow.
- Pillars are not the same as hashtags. Hashtags help posts get found; pillars help posts get made.
Featuring a pillar
Toggle the star on any pillar to feature it. Featured pillars get roughly twice the slots in your weekly plan, so use them to spotlight your highest priority topics or seasonal pushes.
Editing your pillars
- Open Brand Kit, Content Pillars.
- Tap any pillar card to edit the name, description, or product link.
- Use the trash icon to remove a pillar, or the star to feature it.
- Save. Your next weekly batch will use the updated mix.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I have all product pillars and no theme pillars?
You can, but feeds that are 100% product tend to underperform. A mix of theme and product pillars almost always wins. - What happens if I am already at the cap?
You will need to delete or pause an existing pillar before adding a new one. Nothing is overwritten silently. - Do unfeatured pillars still get posts?
Yes. Featured pillars just get a bigger share of the weekly mix.
